As preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they may feel ready to take on the world. Our preschool program fosters that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers and lifelong learners. Through independent exploration, center time, circle time, and hands-on learning, children will work on early literacy, math, science and social studies concepts along with music, art, Bible stories, and sign language. Each classroom has activity centers where children can choose from a variety of activities. They might choose a writing center, a block center, dramatic play center, science center, etc. We believe children learn best through play, so we give them plenty of opportunities to play and learn every day. A healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active too!
Our preschool classroom also utilizes the Covenant Kindergarten checklist to ensure your preschooler is ready to start kindergarten when it’s time. Each year, we organize an end of year program for our Preschoolers, including a graduation ceremony for children starting kindergarten in the fall. This is a great opportunity for parents and grandparents to see their little one on stage.
